No. The 14-day trial does not ask for one, which also means nothing can quietly start charging you at the end of it. You pick a plan when you are ready, and if you do not, nothing happens.

The regular price does not. Every plan renews at the regular annual price on its card, every year, and there is no separate renewal rate on top of it. What can be lower is your first year: some plans have an introductory rate, and a promo code takes its discount off the first year only. From year two you pay the regular price, and it stays there.

Annually. The figure on each card is the annual price divided by twelve, so you can compare it against hosts that quote monthly, but the charge itself is one payment a year. Some plans also carry an introductory rate for the first term, and where they do, the card shows what it renews at.

Yes - plans upgrade, so you can start smaller than you think you need. Something worth knowing when you do: how far back you can restore is set by your plan, and we never delete a snapshot to enforce that. Moving up a tier immediately unlocks older backups we were already holding for you.

What the tiers change is resources, how far back you can restore, and a small number of features - object caching, whether you run Redis or Memcached, is not on the entry plan, for instance. Every plan gets a daily backup. How far back you can restore from is what changes: seven days at the entry level, up to 30 on the top plan. An older snapshot is not deleted when it falls outside your window - we still hold it - so upgrading gives you access to backups that already exist rather than starting a new clock.

No. There is no security add-on, no backup add-on, no staging add-on and no performance add-on, because those are all part of the platform. The comparison table above is the whole product, not the start of an upsell.

Yes, at no extra cost on any paid plan - our team runs the transfer, checks the result and walks the DNS switch with you. If you would rather do it yourself, the WordPress plugin and the SSH migration tool are on every plan including the trial.

No, and that is deliberate. We would rather you used a dedicated email provider than a mailbox bolted onto a web host - deliverability, spam filtering and security are all meaningfully better. We are happy to help you point the DNS at whichever one you choose.
