Due to the IP Address reputation of today's cloud providers, including even the most reputable ones, offering reliable SMTP services can be quite challenging.
SMTP service providers, however, excel in managing email delivery issues, effectively isolating problems, and maintaining a positive sender reputation.
While technically not essential for web hosting, an SMTP service remains a critical component that may be necessary on occasion.
To ensure reliable email delivery, Hostney has partnered with SMTP2GO to integrate their SMTP services. Our aim is to provide minimal support for sending emails. If you require sending a substantial volume of emails from your websites, we encourage you to create your own account with either SMTP2GO or any other SMTP provider.
Add Sender Email
To enable email functionality on your website, you must first add the email address that will be used for sending messages.
To register your email address, simply input it in the designated "Email" field and click on the "Register" button.
After registration, SMTP2GO will send you a verification email. Please follow the instructions in the email to complete the address registration process.
After successfully registering with SMTP2GO, you can easily obtain your credentials by clicking on the "SMTP Server Info" option.
Currently, the sending limit is set to 50 emails/month.
Please be aware that by using our SMTP service, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth by SMTP2GO. If we detect any misuse or abuse of the SMTP service, we reserve the right to deactivate your user account without any further notice. We offer this SMTP service as a complimentary benefit, and it's essential to use it responsibly and in accordance with SMTP2GO's terms of service.
Abuse of SMTP services can include activities such as sending unsolicited emails (spam), engaging in phishing attempts, or violating any other email-related policies. To maintain a high level of service for all our users, it is crucial that the SMTP service is used responsibly and ethically.
We take the security and integrity of our services seriously and will take appropriate actions to prevent any abuse that could negatively impact our infrastructure or other users. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in ensuring a safe and reliable environment for everyone using our services.
